nc files

Post by chessie »

hi
i have cnc12 pro lathe and have just today updated to the latest version of the software today .

if i build a program to make a new part in cnc12 lathe can the files be stored in a different directory by default

i.e a file on the desktop with all the parts i make in it ?

if so how do i change it , is it possible to have different subfolders like desktop/my parts / motorcycle/ Suzuki etc .

or do they all have to go in the one file .

what do you do to keep it tidy

any help appreciated

regards steve

default paths are defined in the pathl.ini file, but you can navigate to any folder.

I use /ncfiles as working directory, and store files from done projects in other folders for reuse later.
