Tool touch off and probe help needed

Hey guys, so I am not sure why I can't seem to get this to work how I want it to, but I feel like someone here might be able to help me.

So I would like to be able to probe my top Z zero for my G54 work coordinate and have it so all of my tools that I touch off on my fixed tool touch off are set to that Z zero point and I can't seem to get the settings right or something just isn't working properly. Does anyone have the proper settings in the wizard or parameters that may be messing me up here?

I appreciate any and all help a ton.
-Greg

Please tell us what is happening and why it's not working? What macro are you using? Please post a current report from the machine and/or the PDF
with all your current wizard settings. We can't really help unless we know how you are setup and what is or isn't happening.

Open the wizard press CTRL P and save the pdf to the desktop and then post it and/or a report here.

There are several macros on the forum to do exactly what you want. This is an old topic with a lot of info.

how about some photos of your machine/setups, wiring etc.. what kind of probe? is it NC or NO? what kind of machine is this? knee mill? bed mill? make a photos album with lots of photos. post link here.

and initially its easier for us to see your Wizard settings sometimes so open the wizard and press CTRL P and post the PDF it generates here.

there is a selection in the Wizard TT menu that tells CNC12 that you want to use the Probe as a reference tool.
use probe at ref tool.png

A side note here, looking at your report, I'm not sure how you came up with your steps per revolution. You have them set to 25,400 on the X and Y and 40,650 on the Z axis. Can you share how you got those numbers as those are incorrect settings for Acorn and your drives.

What drives are you using?

And as I mentioned before and Keith also stated, open the wizard and press CTRL P and post that PDF here.

You have other issues to fix first before you go further.

What is the macro number for your tool touch off macro?
