Remote heartbeat

Post by ToxicMonkey »

I am currently bench building my control system and I am curious if there is a way to have one of the output relays to mirror the heartbeat to an external light? My intent is to have my Acorn in a closed box under the mill and I will not know if there is a heartbeat without opening the box.

Thanks!

Some in the past have used fiber optic light guides to reposition the heartbeat.

Confidence is the feeling you have before you fully understand the situation.
I have CDO. It's like OCD, but the letters are where they should be.

you'll find once you get the machine configured and running you never look at the heartbeat again.

Jep, turn on and make parts.

I usually do not bother with heartbeat, ever though I am testing lots of beta software

Only time I need to look at the heartbeat is when installing fresh installation version of the beta software.
