Acorn pricing: introductory?

Post by frijoli »

I am in the process of building my components list for my lathe retrofit, but not ready to go all in.
Is the current pricing on Acorn standard or introductory? Meaning is there a plan to increase it in the near future?

Hello.
we are happy to be able to offer this introductory pricing at this time for early adopters of the Acorn CNC controller. And there will be a modest increase to the kit prices after this introduction pricing period is over.

Thanks Keith,

Any thoughts on how long the period will last? Just a ball park?

Yes, please let us know. I have plans to purchase a second Acorn for the lathe but want to get the mill set up and running first.

Hey guys.. We have a set number of initial Acorn CNC control kits set aside for the introductory offer, so a time estimate is a tough thing to make.☹️

hello.
as we ramp up production we plan on taking advantage of manufacturing economies of scale so hopefully just a modest increase adjustment will be needed to keep the Acorn in the sweet spot for its intended price conscious DIY customer base. so don't worry, we fully intend on Acorn to continue to provide maximum performance and feature per dollar and ease of use above and beyond anything else in this price range.
