Just remember to configure a permanent password and send that to Keith along with the ID.
If you don't set a permanent password, TeamViewer will cycle it as a security measure.

Re: New install - CNC12 (resolved)
Thanks, Marty. I appreciate all the help. Not sure why this is giving me problems. Seems like it shouldn't.

I think you will find that when you setup a dedicated PC, all will go much better. Laptops are hit and miss, so I have always avoided using them.

Re: New install - CNC12
I figured it out!!! I went and watched the videos again...nothing particularly stood out as to what I might have done wrong until I noticed the part where he unzipped the folder downloaded off the Centroid site. Windows 10 is confusing to me as it will kind of unzip folders and allow you to access the files within them, but it actually leaves the folder intact (unzipped), I believe that's what it does. So, I think the Wizard, and possibly CNC12, need access to files in that folder to run (or maybe it's just install) properly. Once I unzipped the folder and reinstalled the program, it all seems to be working! The Wizard program opens, the CNC12 main screen looks correct now, and the VCP seems to be working fine, as well.
Thanks, guys, for all your patience and help. Now that I have the program working, I can start learning more about how Acorn works. Then I will have a bunch of newbie questions, I am sure!

Re: New install - CNC12
Yup.
Glad you have it up and running on the bench. If you are running on the mill, router watch Centroid mill training videos on YouTube. They are a little older but are still a great reference.
The Mill Operators manual is as well. Which you can download.

Re: New install - CNC12 (resolved, follow the video)
Thanks, Marty. I did watch that video...it's long, but a wealth of information. I edited the first post in this thread, just to add the things that caught me up so if anyone happens to have the same issues as me, they won't have to read the entire thread.
