Can't use X10 or X100 on MPG if probe is setup on inputs <resolved>
There must be a bug, been pulling my hair out. I am using a Drewtronics probe that is NC. I am also using the poor mans detection circuit with a toggle switch. No matter what I do, The X10 and X100 settings on the MPG will not move any axis, only the X1, without a probe plugged in. If I flip my switch, it says the probe is tripped because no probe is plugged in and is in an open state. So I switch my toggle back to off, the Probe tripped message goes away, but still the machine will not move with X10 or X100 with the MPG.
If I go into the configuration wizard and REMOVE Probe Detect and Probe Tripped from the Inputs section, then all of a sudden the X10 and X100 will jog the machine as it should.
Despite this, I am still able to turn the spindle on and off while the probe detect circuit is off, but X10 and X100 will not work!!

There's no bug. The software is designed to only allow 1X movement when it thinks the probe is tripped.
Did you invert any of your inputs by mistake? Go into the Alt-i screen and look for a line over the inputs you have set up for the probe. This is outlined in the Acorn Probe Setup manual. Do you have the Probe manual?

But, since he has defined INP6 to be a normally-open probe-detect input, and has set P18 = 50006, the software should recognize that the probe is not available to be tripped when INP6 is open, and in that case ignore the state of INP7.

I spent all day reading everything I could, and yes, followed the probe manual before making a post on here. This has been an issue for a while now

Anyone have any idea on this? Should I just nuke the installation and start over from scratch?

wjh308,
I see you are on V5.06, there may of been a fix for NC probe and WMPG in V5.08. Save a backup and try installing the current V5.08 and see if that helps the situation.

I also just noticed you are using and old version. There's no need to "nuke" it. Just print your wizard pages when in the wizard, CTRL-P for your backup, rename or delete the current cncm directory and reinstall the newest version. If you have time to kill then sure, nuke it, but it's a waste of time.

Not a total waste of time, I wanted to move the system over to the SSD from the slow spinner.

Ok, the new version fixed my issue!
