A Small Life Preserver

Post by RGSparber »

As a newbie to Centroid, I am drowning in extremely important information. It is very easy for me to forget some newly learned bit.

My solution is to bolt a small steel plate to the bottom of my monitor. I also have a roll of large packing stickers and a bunch of those sheets of soft magnetic material.

When I need to remember something, I slap a sticker on one of the sheet magnets. Then I trim to fit. The information is written on the face. The magnet holds it to the sheet steel until that lesson is learned. Then it is displaced by a new reminder.

Rick,

Since it's steel, just write on it with a Sharpie and then wipe it off with a little acetone and write your next message.

Cheers,

Confidence is the feeling you have before you fully understand the situation.
I have CDO. It's like OCD, but the letters are where they should be.
