Sirs,
I have a Centroid CNC7 running version CPU10 on a Bridgeport Boss Series II Mill.
The last job I ran it was fine and powered it down. About a week later I powered it back up to run a job and I am getting a 401 PLC Error Dected.
I have checked my primary transformer voltages and have 24 & 83 VAC. I am getting 110 volts to the DC310 Servo Drive Plc. I am getting 110 VDC to H1.
I have checked the fuses they are good.
I have replaced the E-Stop Contactor, I thought that maybe it was not pulling in. It does not seem to be getting voltage
I'm not sure what to do or check next.
Thank you.

The majority of times that message is due to either the incorrect fiber optic cable not being firmly seated in its respective socket or power to the PLC. There are a couple of power LEDs on the DC3IO, +5, +12, and -12. Are they on? Chances are that they aren't. Even if they are on, I would recommend replacing the logic power supply that is mounted underneath the DC3IO. It's a typical PC power supply that you may be able to find at your local computer store. Just make sure that it's a microATX power supply because if you get the typical ATX power supply, it's too big and it will not fit.

Once you get the power supply, you will see a big 20 or 24-pin connector. On that connector there is a green wire. That green wire is the signal that the motherboard uses to turn the power supply on. Since this power supply isn't being installed onto a motherboard, you will need to short that wire to any of the surrounding black wires. You should be able to look at your existing power supply underneath the DC3IO to see what I am referring to.

Thank you, No none of the led's are lit up on the DC310. I have checked the fiber optic cables to verify they are plugged in and none of them were loose.
I will replace the micro ATX power supply.
Thank you for your help. I will update on my progress.
