New project new guy with Bridgeport Boss conversion

Well that about takes care of my intro...

I made the decision to use the all in one to convert my (I think) series 2 Boss using the all in one. (Tilt andBy The Way I used the search first and came up zero for "boss Bridgeport all in one " I can't believe those are not in the search terms so I must be doing something wrong... bow head but no hand wheels strictly cnc) circa 1992?
Brief background, I have a number of Mach3 builds on mills routers and plasma machines over the years but have managed to steer clear of servo and servo drives for the sake of simplicity.
I was heading in that direction on this mill using step and direction signals to power those SmartServos, however I listened to the little voice in my head telling me to move beyond the limitations of Mach and especially steppers... After all I'm already planning a VMC conversation in the distant future and I consider this a practicle practice machine for this.
I understand this is exponentially more involved but I grew up in my fathers hvac business and have a general grip on electrical circuits to not cause injury myself too badly...
I watched the excellent YouTube videos that Marty's Garage is doing and he's a great teacher with a logical approach.
What I'm looking for, or I should say who I'm looking for is someone with the experience on my particular machine.
The things I would like to know are: What parts I can repurpose from the original and does anyone have a schematic of their build I could consult.
My machine in in my shop with 3 phase running to a 20a disconnect directly behind it. I stripped out the electronic boards and circuitry I was certain I wouldn't be using.
Some info that may be interesting is if I can run all the conduits in their original respective order so the original wiring will reach the component layout in the centroid example.
I'm not the needy type that needs endless handholding but thought this would help "leapfrog" my project along.
Any help advice or documentation would be greatly appreciated.
MY ALL IN ONE HAS BEEN BENCH TESTED AND PASSED. it's essentially ready for duty. I have the VFD macro loaded and calibrated and the jog/remote panel with touch screen.
By The Way I used the search first and came up zero for "boss Bridgeport all in one " I can't believe those are not in the search terms so I must be doing something wrong...

Please post detailed photos of the entire machine so we can see exactly what you have.
Boss machines over the years had quite a bit of differences.
There are a couple of good electrical cabinet shots of a Bport Allin1dc upgrade in this photo album.

and see the pdf attached for two different Bridgeport electrical cabinet Allin1DC upgrade examples.

Cnckeith, yes V2xt. Forgive me. I don't know why I forgot to mention in the post. It is the exact same one pictured.
As a matter of fact that photo with the reused components got me off the fence about purchasing the Ajax Centroid system.
Unfortunately I did not receive original wire schematics with the purchase of the mill. I can provide model and serial if necessary.
From what I can see the step down transformer and other components I have in the photo that are required. I would like to procure the wiring diagram from the one pictured and set it up in that basic layout as it would be a time saver.
Also worth mentioning I will be packing up in prep for hurricane Irma for the next couple days as I'm just a short distance from Orlando...wish me luck.

sure thing the allin1dc hookup schematics are on this page.

and there was variance between the V2XT's produces over time.. so please post detailed photos of the machine and all its accessories etc..so we can advise you.

thanks..for the starter images.. looks like a clean machine! and is a great machine to install an allin1dc onto.
please post your V2XT project hi res photos (at least 1600 pixels wide) on an online gallery site (like google photos) and post the link here. this will go a long way in communication and support both ways and will facilitate good communication between us about the project.
serial tags are nice but don't do us much good as we don't have a serial number record of the factory build sheets so i rather see good photos of on the axis motors, all the accessories (limit switches, flood, mist, spindle brake, etc..etc..) , the spindle motor, all of the cabinet components etc..)

have you choosen the servo motor encoders to install? if so, please post a photo of them. are you making your own servo motor power and encoder cables? or did you purchase them premade from centroid? be sure to see marty's excellent servo motor upgrade video on this page. http://www.centroidcnc.com/centroid_diy ... ideos.html

and this servo motor upgrade web page as well. http://www.centroidcnc.com/sem_dc_servo ... rofit.html

Yes. Have encoders that came with the kit. I'm bushing them from 1/2" to 10mm.
Saw Marty's vids and passed the bench test.
Repainted and detailed the machine in prep for reassembly.
A little hurricane interruption but back on pace again.
Thanks for your help. I know how needy people can be when they are about to step into the unknown however reading the manual seems to produce more questions than it answers. It presents you with options, that at this point in the build I don't relate to... It may not seem it but I am doing searches in the archives. Part of the time they are or aren't relative to my specific questions. I'll plod on until I get stuck...again thanks. ;)

Sorry I'm late to respond. Glad you found my videos helpful. Hearing that makes me feel all the extra effort was worth it. Sounds like you are making progress on your V2XT.

I have a Bridgeport Torq Cut 22 I am also contemplating on converting to Centroid CNC. If I move forward, it will be after I catch up on the many projects I have going on.

Can enyone explain; when controlling all relays and signals from 24 volts from the step down transformer, in what situation would I need SIPs?

24VDC?
The resistor sips for 24vdc are already installed on AIO DC
from Centroid (mine were) but you should double check.
