No Spindle Motor- Bridgeport Series I -DC310 revival

Post by Tearsa »

Bridgeport Boss Series I, 2005 retrofit to AjaxCNC, with DC310 PLC controller. Powered by Phase-a-matic Rotary 5hp.
I bought in 2007 used lightly for about a year. Stored.
For 2 yrs. I have been trying to bring this up. I just got the PLC DC310 back from Centroid after a going over and testing.
Today I finally homed the machine for the first time since 2007.
Next I hope to upgrade to 3hp Huan VFD. But for the moment, the spindle won't turn on.
I get no alarms. I can run programs. Existing programs. But I get no spindle rotation.
I have a Volt meter, but not sure what to check. 2hp 3phase original spindle motor.
Any leads are appreciated. Dana
