Bostomatic G12

Post by Harry Whole »

Hello!!! My name is Tom and I am with a small mold company in Gilbert AZ. We have a Bostomatic G12 that has good servos/ballscrews just the controller is not so good. I think we are having a heat issue as when we run for any length of time the machine will sometimes freeze up losing all offsets. I have been reading up on a controller retrofit and just wondering what would be involved to put an Ajax controller on this machine? Any help is much appreciated and thanks in advanced.....

Hello.
Bostos are great machines.
lets start with what kind of axis motor is it currently equipped with?
can you post some photos of the machine, the electrical cabinet and close ups of the axis motors, and the data plates?
and i can advise you.
