PLC Program for feed hold

Post by sno-pro79 »

I have an All in 1 running the latest software cnc11.
I suffered a hard drive failure and the guy that originally put it together only utilized 1 hard drive.
Using the cycle start button on machine and slide(feed) hold button, normally open contact, maintained with keyboard jogging.
The cycle start button is now working using input #7 .
Using input # 8 ,what would the plc program look like for feed hold?

The homing direction does not change regardless if I change from 91 to 92 on the homing file.

thank you

I just read the "Read First Before Posting Thread"
I will create a report when I go to the shop.

When using keyboard jogging, the space bar initiates feed hold. Pressing alt-s (Cycle Start) resumes from feed hold assuming your feedrate override is > 0. (ctrl + and ctrl - increase and decrease feedrate override respectively) Regarding homing - I can only assume you are changing the wrong file or not saving your changes. We'll know more when we see the report.zip.
