error loading file cnc10x.tab and cnc10y.tab

Post by poison_burn »

Hi.

I'm trying to do "screw compensation" like in the procedure of the Technical Bulletins 058 ( http://www.ajaxcnc.com/downloads/Techni ... ns/058.pdf ) but, when I press "F5 - M. Comp"
the controller display me the next messages: "error loading file: cnc10x.tab" and "error loading file cnc10y.tab". and only the Z axis values is displayed for change it.

I need to know how resolved this error message, thanks for your help.

I would guess that you have old cnc10x.tab and cnc10y.tab files, which are not properly formatted or perhaps are invalid for one reason or another.

You should try removing those files from the cnc10 directory, then see if you can get into the F5/M Comp pages (which should then create new files with default values).
