Ajax Mach3 question

Post by kck63 »

Hi everyone I bought a Ajax Allin1DC motion controller MPU11 1106120591 3.08 key A . I plan to use this on a milling machine that I am retrofitting. Since I don't have internet at my shop I removed a motor and put everything on a table for bench testing. It came with Mach 3 software also. My question is do I need to buy a unlock code for the Ajax system and get it configured and set up before I will be able to run the Mach 3. Or do I buy the Mach 3 license and set it up. Thanks

The install and setup manual will use the CNC11 software to set up the control. A 45 Demo would have come with your order that you can use for the setup. Based on the control serial number, a license for the Centroid software has not been purchased.

hello. you do not need to buy the ajax/centroid license to setup the cnc controller for use with mach3.

you do use the centroid software to setup all the hardware as outlined in the manual. as it is easier to use the centroid software to setup the hardware.
all systems ship with a "demo code" unlock that allows the centroid software to run for 45 days (days that you use it) this gives you plenty of time to use the centroid software to setup the control and to use it.. you may like it better than mach3.

A sheet with the 45 Day Demo and instructions on entering it should have shipped with your system. If you can't find it just send me an email at sales@ajaxcnc.com or give me a call at 814-353-9218 and I can get you another code.
