Moving Y- Limit to increse travel. What tasks follow in OS?

Post by countryguy »

Good Friday morning gang,
I've determined my Y travel is about 8.75" and I need my full 9.25". Knee Mill. YMC30. New controller. (2015) It looks like I get there by sliding the limit switch down. I have 1/2" there easy for Y- travel extension. Once I move the limit - Don't I need to re-execute some of the Y travel setup steps of the new install guide? Plus the auto-slow down thing...Or do a full self-test after that? I have pull the docs I have from the new install. Just thought this may be easier that I'm making it.
Thanks everyone. Holiday's on the march- Yikes - Where did 2015 go???

yes, move the switch, check action with estop depressed to make sure the swtich triggers before you run out of travel. its good to leave .050" or so. then reset travel limits.
