How to setup a new Laptop w/ 3.12 restore?

Post by countryguy »

Hi all,
I had an older laptop I setup for the DCAIO Mill Retro. The 3.12 app was unlocked and has had all system tests run thru it. Been running jobs just fine. My kid brought over the new Alienware box and we installed the CD, ran a 'recover' from the saved files of the other system, Ran the unlock and rebooted. But it's not acting right and notes that system test has not been run. Is there a tech bulletin on moving your Mill setups and configs from one PC to another w/o redoing a lot of tasks?

thanks all,
Jeff.

If you already have the software installed you can copy the directory (cncm) from the old PC to the new one. When it asks you about overwriting files select "Yes to all".
