max low speed power AC Drive

What brand of ac drive would give the most low rpm power. It would be used with either be a Baldor 7.5 hp or a Fanuc 5.5kw spindle motor. I could add a spindle encoder to supply feedback to the drive. I have looked at the Hitachi sj200/sj700 and the Durapulse GS3. Would the Control Techniques be a better choice?
