getting ready to convert to ACORN from my mach3 kASUGA knee mill conversion-
is it possible with Acorn to sense spindle RPM and then adjust feedrate acordingly (with some math)?

Feed per revolution!
If you have an encoder on the spindle it works like a charm!

Yes. Parameter 78 can be configured to either wait for the spindle to each programmed speed before axes move and/or adjust the axes feedrate up/down as the spindle slows or speeds up due to load conditions
