Given that, let me suggest that you try them both and then decide. The hardware comes with a fully functional demo version of the Centroid software and you can download a functional version of the Mach software from http://www.machsupport.com/downloads/Ma ... 42.040.exe
You can download a demo of the Centroid software here:

And there are tutorials that you can follow using the demo software included in the CNC11 manuals here:
