Just thought I'd post this here to help anyone else trying to get one of the inexpensive Chen Ying automatic lubricators working. I have two on existing machines that hooked up and are working without problems. I bought two more and was having problems getting them to work in PLC controlled mode. With the ACTivation knob fully CW (>60 seconds) and the INTerval knob fully CCW (<0.1 sec), it was taking over 30 seconds for the pump to come on after power was supplied to the unit.
Turns out that there are some undocumented DIP switches inside and these were set differently between the new units and the working ones. I was unable to find any information about the switch settings online, but setting the switches in the same position as the working units corrected the problem and allowed the pump to start as soon as power was applied. The photo below shows the DIP switch positions that give the correct behavior:

Confidence is the feeling you have before you fully understand the situation.
I have CDO. It's like OCD, but the letters are where they should be.
