**RESOLVED** additonal axis DC drive

Post by radnoh »

Am I right in thinking that there were specific MPU11 single axis add-on DC drives available? Only they're not listed anymore in the shop section?

Thanks

Hi,

That is correct, single axis DC add on drives are available for MPU11 based systems @$395.00 per drive. Please call sales at 814-360-0279

To run my DC set up as a 5-axis machine would I be best purchasing 2 seperate DC drives to add on to the DC3IO or would I need another DC3IO?

Hello Radnoh,

It would be your choice. You can either purchase a second DC3IOB ($995.00) or purchase two DC1 drives @ $395ea.)

The two DC1 drives are obviously slightly less expensive but the additional DC3IOB will double your I/O capability as well as add 3 more servo axes.

Question: Are you retrofitting a Mill AND a lathe? I ask because in a previous post you mention that you were retrofitting a lathe?
