Re: How to set default folder for programs
This would seem to be some kind of a Windows Form kind of thing and it seems that CNC12 doesn't use the standard Open File form or something else is going on behind the scenes (best/worst description of it). The only thing I have found that makes it open to the last used folder, is to do this... Op...

Re: How to set default folder for programs
Thanks Marty. Yes, on a network, this will be better than using the default location. I've started using some new software that places the .nc files several directories deep and it will place all the g-code files for a entire job in that folder. I ultimately want to navigate to a folder and stay the...

Re: How to set default folder for programs
Is there a way to set the default file location to the last opened file with the Windows file explorer in V4.5??? If I set parameter 4 = 4 it opens to the last file location with a DOS-style file interface. If I understand correctly, I should be able to add parameter 8 to this to use Windows-style F...

Re: Fusion 360 Mill Post Processor for Acorn with additional Features (New Version 3)
I am having trouble. Not sure but I think this has to do with me flipping Z axis in tool orientation as I am machining the underside of the part now. I fixed this by changing the origin to the underside of the part and flipping it. I probably could of defined the part top as the bottom too but I di...

Re: Spindle Question - Not Acorn Related
Update: 1. I used compressed air and was able to get air to pass thru. 2. I was unable to pass a wire or any kind of snake thru the spindle because there was a barrier just inside the fitting. 3. I pumped straight White vinegar thru for 6 hours. Some flow but not a lot. 4. I mixed 50/50 CLR and warm...

Re: Spindle Question - Not Acorn Related
Gary,
Do you have a particular brand of racing coolant that you like to use? Do you run it straight or dilute it with distilled water?

Re: Spindle Question - Not Acorn Related
I have used anti-freeze since I got the machine, I have now idea what the previous owner used. Thanks for the tips! Between the CLR and a wire I bet I can get the flow going again.

Spindle Question - Not Acorn Related
I have a water-cooled spindle that has some kind of constriction/blockage that is not allowing sufficient coolant flow thru the spindle. Do any of you guys have any tips or tricks to unclog this thing? I have put compressed air to it and that helped somewhat but not completely.
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Rack ATC Macro Help
Hebs, Glad you got it worked out.
Allin1Chris I hope that Centroid is able to incorporate Hebs error checking strategy for the tool change macro into the upcoming router version.
