Re: X axis drive fault.... need help
Unfortunately our Mach3 technical expert is out for the day, but I personally don't see anything wrong with your configuration. You wouldn't happen to also have CNC11 set up as well? Its possible its an issue with the board itself. Do you know your serial number or key-a number?

Re: X axis drive fault.... need help
You would need to uninstall them first. You should be given the option to keep your configuration backups but I would copy them over to a safe location just in case.

Re: X axis drive fault.... need help
Have you made any changes to your software configuration? You can try re-installing Mach3 and the plug-in (the install may have become corrupted somehow). Can you attach a screenshot of your configuration screen?

Re: Restoring a Mach3/Ajax Computer
Your Mach/Ajax files will be in whatever directory you installed Mach3 in. Most likely this is something like C:\Mach3 if you used the default installation. The Ajax Mach3 Plugin will create a sub-directory under Mach3 so if you copy the parent you will get that one as well. Other sub-directories un...

Please take a look at the Spindle Inverter PDF for wiring details. The PDF is also available on the CD that came with your control.

Centroid Post Processor FAQ
The Ajax CNC control runs on industry standard G and M codes. CENTROID/Ajax post processors have been created for most all popular CAD/CAM systems which will output the proper G&M codes from your geometry (DXF etc) to run on our control. If your CAD/CAM System does not have a CENTROID/Ajax post ...

Re: manual Z axis help/ideas wanted
Are you running Mach3 or CNC11? You wouldn't be able to use Estop because that takes all motor power away (at least on a properly wired Estop). We can provide some pointers (or a custom program) to use an aux key to free up the X and Y axes in Brains or a custom PLC but need some more info.

Can you check and see what you have Parameter 260 set to. Set it to -1 if its not already. To get to the parameters screen from the main screen press F1-Setup, F3-Config (default password is 137), F3-Params.
