Re: Help with KBSI-240D signal isolator wiring
I'm getting lost in all of this. What exactly is your problem to this point? Trying to figure out how to add an Estop relay or safety on your spindle? Initially you were asking about power. I think that was answered. I use Estop contactors many don't. I don't think that is good practice. But to each...

Re: Help with KBSI-240D signal isolator wiring
So which speed control did they use? There IS a schematic for a KBIC-120 with built on SI-5 isolator board (model KBLC-240DS) 3376F This is what the sticker on the back of the motor control box calls out. Not sure why its a different model than the doc Sherline provided? In my original post I provi...

Are you sure the display/operator panel is fully seated and good connection made?

Re: How do you wire/ program a ATC auto tool changer with acorn?
Go here, download the ATC files. Look at the Carousel folder. https://centroidcncforum.com/viewforum.php?f=63 Look in the Installation Instructions folder and read the instructions. It tells you very specifically which inputs and outputs are needed. In a nutshell, yes, you need one sensor to count t...

Re: just trying to modify the m6 to move x to home position for toolchange
I am having problems being able to get a tool in when the spindle is sitting right above the part and the tool is long. I wish the x would move to home after z moves to home so I could get the spindle away from the part, can anyone help me get that set up. I'm sure it's simple to get that updated. ...

Re: Bulkman3D Laser
Yes, suggest you follow the lead of the NEJE20 schematic and it associated outputs and give that a test. Remember to wear the appropriate safety glasses for that wavelength laser.

Re: Help with KBIC 240D signal isolator wiring
Look at a schematic for a Generic VFD and follow its lead. Does your spindle need to reverse? You can run the ENAble signal through a contactor. I believe you have a small Sherline lathe with what kind of axis motors? Marty Marty, could you direct me to a drawing or doc for the wiring you are recom...

Re: KP-3 Probe Woes
Well Marty, I know you mean no disrespect but you sound like Centroid who accused me of damaging the probe which I did NOT. I take full responsibility for my actions. I got the exact same treatment from Centroid with my KP-4 probe. The customer service regarding the probe was terrible. I sucked it ...

Re: DMM Servo pairing
I understand all that, and mean no disrespect. It's a real pain in the ass getting the report to my pc that has email. I really don't see the importance of a report when it's not a troubleshooting question, but a simple question about the basic install. But not my forum, I will comply in future. Th...
