Thanks for your prompt response, it is clear that it is not possible to use the Acorn controller for the project because it does not work with a closed loop system and is designed for other purposes. sounds like you got things wired wrong. take off all wires and double check, triple trace out your wiring. what schematic are you following? photos of your setup? what make model stepper drive are you using? need more info to be of good help. review this post. https://centroidcncforum.com/viewtopic....

ask Solidworks. Centroid doesn't create post processors for Cad/cam systems, that is up to the creators of the cad/cam system.

when you switch cnc12 from inches to mm all values in CNC12 that are in parameters will convert. it will not convert your g code programs. and all a macro is.... is a g code program. :-) like tom said, its up to you to let CNC12 know what units your g code is in with the G20 or 21.
