Touch Probe Signal Debounce
Does the probe input on the Acorn have a contact debounce filter built in? I ask this because Renishaw mentions this in some of their literature and that accuracy is improved if you can filter out the bounce that is present in a kienmatic probe output. Here is a sketch that describes what I'm talkin...

Re: Stepper Motor resolution
Marty has given you all you need to know to hopefully get it working OK.
The only suggestion I would have is to take a 1 or 2 inch dial indicator and count the number of screw rotations it takes to move the table exactly 1 inch. I would do this for all 3 axis.

Re: Stepper Motor resolution
Not complaining Orin. Where would you enter the 20,000 in the Wizard? This is based on your example above. The 2:1 ratio would mean that the steps/revolution would have to be 2000 x 2 = 4000 or I guess the steps could stay at 2000 but the overall turns ratio would be multiplied by 2 which would be ...

Re: Stepper Motor resolution
While helpful, Centroid does it differently than Mach. So how is the Excel spreadsheet's calculations any different from ANY stepper controller? Just because the spreadsheet was found on the Mach forum doesn't mean that the calculations are any different from ANY controller that uses step/direction...

Thanks for the review and letting us know about the wiring issues. Have you had time to check to see if it actually works and ACORN reads it's output? Here is a breakout with the correct, usable securing screws: https://www.amazon.com/Adapter-signals-Terminal-Breakout-Plastic/dp/B01C2V2E8U/ref=sr_1_...

Re: Microkinetics driver
You may want to consider this one - A little less expensive and meets Centroids specs:

Re: Where do you typically purchase hookup wire?
I bought the same ferrule kit that Dickeybird bought but I didn't like the crimping tool because sometimes the wire would pull out of the ferrule. Then I found this crimping tool and it does a great job: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073CNL367/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 For...
