Re: moog s-24 mill tool changer
It seems like those aren't differential encoder signals which if they aren't, it will not work with the Centroid control. Do you have a pinout for those encoders? If so, verify that there are A, /A, B, /B, Z, and /Z signals. If there aren't, you can either purchase new encoders, build a circuit that...

Re: Offline version of INTERCON Number 2
For future reference, your Centroid control serial number is 3606. Our database shows that system is running CNC10 v2.36. In order to avoid backwards compatibility issues, I will email you the Offline Intercon v2.36 via filemail.com as I can't attach it due to its size. It is Windows XP compatible. ...

Re: Offline version of INTERCON Number 2
You can download the latest CNC11 v3.16 software here http://www.centroidcnc.com/centroid_diy/centroid_cnc_software_downloads.html. When you get to the section where it asks you what you want to install, select either the Mill or Lathe DEMO. That is the Offline Intercon software. Do you happen to kn...

Re: moog s-24 mill tool changer
Please email Centroid Tech Support at support@centroidcnc.com an I/O list as well as the behavior of that I/O in order to get an accurate quote on that custom PLC program. Are you sure that encoder count is correct? Typically, in that particular range, encoders are either 2000ppr or 2048ppr which pr...

Re: encoder connectios
The ACORN only has 1 encoder port but that is mostly used for the spindle encoder. You do not connect the axis motor encoders to the ACORN. The ACORN just sends the STEP and DIRECTION signals to the drive. The encoders are installed onto the axis drive. You will have to get a drive which can run tho...

Re: moog s-24 mill tool changer
I don't see why not. You won't be able to use the logic that is in the standard swing arm tool changer PLC program as that PLC program is written for a swing arm that only moves in 1 direction. You should be able to control that tool changer with the Centroid control but the PLC program will need to...

Re: Diffrence between "Pro" and "Ultimate" software
You can see the differences between the different versions of the CNC12 software with the ACORN board here http://www.centroidcnc.com//centroid_di ... oller.html. As of right now, the CNC12 software is only for the ACORN board. It will be available with the ALLIN1DC in the near future.

Sure. Your PLC program will need to be modified for that behavior.

Re: Wiring a Toshiba vfd to all-in-one
It looks pretty straight forward but attached is a table showing the proper connections between that VFD and the ALLIN1DC. In trying to zoom in the photo you sent, it was very hard to verify this but I believe that FLB is the NC output from the VFD while the FLA is the NO output from the VFD. There ...

Re: Runtime Error 231
Since copying the files via the Linux command prompt worked for you, I would recommend using the Linux command window to remove files by using the rm command. If you type rm /cncroot/c/cnc10/ncfiles/* and press ENTER, it will remove all of the files that are in the ncfiles directory. Remember that t...
