Re: homing travels in wrong direction

Here's my last comment and then I'm blocking you because I simply have better things to do with my time. It has to be abundantly apparent to anyone who reads your posts that given the poor grammar, spelling and punctuation that for you to actually read and understand the plethora of documentation p...

Re: Using a probe as a reference tool

Deleted. I had a brain fart. With the table moving up and down as the Z axis and not using a quill you would use the bed mill method. Sorry about that. Don't listen to me. Listen to Uwe. He knows what he is doing. Except in his wine preferences. Then don't listen to him!

Re: Using a probe as a reference tool

The Z axis is moving towards the spindle In Mr. R's setup. It is just that the spindle is mounted on an arm that moves perpendicular to the table's X axis. Uwe's video shows it perfectly.

Re: Using a probe as a reference tool

You seem to have your axis mislabeled. The Z axis should be along the spindle centerline of the machine. This will cause issues with the built-in probe routines, and g-code canned cycles if not corrected. I think he has his axis correctly labeled. His table moves left and right (X axis) His Z axis ...

milling a round over on the end of a workpiece

Often I need to put a half circle on the end of a piece of flat stock. I tried to figure out how to do it in Intercon but had no luck. I know how to do it in Fusion 360. I would like to chuck up the stock in the vise and mill the end of the stock to form a half circle. Is there a quick way to do tha...

feed over ride greater than 100%

I used to be able to increase the feed rate over the 100% level. After upgrading to 5.xxx I am no longer able to do than either with the VCP buttons or the WMPG. Is that not possible or what am I missing? I searched the forums but didn't find anything that was relevant.

Warning to shut off the WMPG

Keith, please somehow flash a warning up on the screen in-between F10 and F9 when shutting down CNC12. I often forget to power down the WMPG and sometimes it is days before I use the mill again. I am sure I am not the only one guilty of this lapse in thinking. Please! :?

Re: G-code program with pauses

Thank you. The solution was so simple. Just start a new file in Intercon. Go to the insert M &G codes and input what I wanted it to do. Once it warned me I could only put one M.code in a line I was off to the races. Simple as can be once you what to do. I didn't realize I could use that insert M...
