Re: Gerber AR600 Retrofit

Follow each step carefully as laid out in the Geckodrive manual. PLEASE TAKE AND POST PICTURES OF THE EXISTING CONTROL, The existing drives (Follow where the step...

To your gecko stepper drives, same with your VFD manual if you have questions on it.

Re: Gerber AR600 Retrofit
Post a link to the drive manual. Always provide links so we don't have to go looking for them. It's being considerate. Yes, keep the current power supply. Power it up check your DC voltage. The contactor next to the big blue capacitor is likely the "Estop" contactor. Check its coil voltage...

Re: C86ACCP board green light comes on5 sec goes off (Self resolved )
Your telling me that there's nothing wrong with both of these drawings? I'm trying to tell you there are two conflicting drawings on the site. I am looking at the Acorn No Fault relay output to the C86ACCP NoFault input. You should always be looking at the highest Version which is 4 and which is fo...

Re: Angled cuts surface finish
Are you using a SHIELDED ethernet bulkhead connector? Is that short ethernet cable shielded? Is the cable from the cabinet to the PC shielded? Do power off the VFD and run the machine cutting air and then check your logs. But shielded ethernet cables and bulkhead connectors are a MUST. I question th...

Contact David at Delta, he is very familiar with their VFD's
IA.VFD AT deltaww.com
I assume you didn't buy the programming cable? It is handy because you can view/program the VFD from a PC and download the parameters for safe keeping and SHARING. You could send it to David.

Re: Angled cuts surface finish
Post pictures of the machine. My hunch is your feeds and speed may not be reasonable for the machine, and or tooling being used. None of which we can see or know. Also, have you checked your Error logs lately? F7 Utility, F9 Logs, F1 Errors. You have many PC/MPU resends Usually Electromagnetic inter...

Re: Acorn Hardware Manual?
Thanks, I really appreciate the pointer; that's exactly what I was looking for. I looked at that document a couple times but unfortunately that section is missing from the index. A couple things are missing there, but overall the Centroid folks have done an excellent job capturing what a typical en...
