Re: Hardinge TFB
More Photos. Paint was PPG Amercoat 2 epoxy primer and PSX700 polysilane topcoat with a lot of bodywork underneath. I picked up a car shelter on sale from Tractor Supply which made a great paint booth and kept the wife from complaining about paint fumes in the house. IMG_20170915_081724.jpg IMG_2017...

Hardinge TFB
It's been a long while getting to this point, but I can start to see the light at the end of the tunnel. This is a 1982 Hardinge TFB that had been involved in an abusive relationship. I rescued it at an auction, completely disassambled, cleaned, painted, ground, scraped, and am finally re-assembling...

Re: Logan lathe CNC conversion
One wheel with a flange and one without. This reduces friction and belt wear.

Re: encoder suitability
Encoder Products Company has big-bore encoders (up to 1.875") that work great on spindles.

Re: Limit/home switches
Scott, I have a lot of users that run into the same problem with the start button as you do. I've created a --NULL--.CNC file that does not contain anything. I ask that the users load that program when they are done running theirs. That way is someone is using the machine in manual mode and they ina...

Re: Oak vs MPU11/GPIO4D
Oak also has an analog input if you want to do a spindle load meter. MPU11/GPIO4D needs an expansion board.

Error in RT-200 Manual wiring diagram?
Page 32 (DC wiring) in the RT-200 manual shows Encoder common (blk/red) connected to pin D of the Amphenol connector. The home switch green wire is also connected to pin D on the Amphenol connector. Is this correct?

Re: Motor compatible with ALLIN1DC?
Thanks, Scott. This will be a DC1 addition and I didn't know the DC1 could run at a different bus voltage. Everything else will be at 155V (rectified 115V) without a transformer. I'll probably change out the motor since I really don't want to add a transformer and the encoder is only 1000L so I'd ha...

Motor compatible with ALLIN1DC?
I have a rotary table with and old DC brushed K&D MagMotor. I contacted the manufacturer and the only specs available are: Ke ~ 28.3 volts/1000 rpm Kt ~ 38.3 oz-in/amp Rt ~ 0.90 ohms Attached is a photo of the motor nameplate. I was hoping this would work with my ALLIN1DC control. Liviu or Keith...
