Re: How to transfer a Mill Pro license from a damaged Acorn to a new Acorn
Marty - I entered and submitted the report form and sent the email Thursday, Jan 28. In the submission I noted the purchase date of the Mill Pro License. Re: communication pc to pc with ethernet cable ,for transfering data
I want to know how to proceed with the 2 win 10 pc for communicating together. PC's can have two ethernet cards but I've not tried it with Acorn to see if it interferes. It may cause issues! Dave C. You can have multiple NICs in the same PC with no issues. You then just have to be aware of which on...

Re: Acorn V4.5 license not installing
Try deleting the license.dat in the CNCT directory. Then copy the License back down to the PC from the email and loading it again. Just in case anything got corrupted.

Re: v4.5 acorn cnc mill pro license not installing

Re: Acorn License
Licenses were not purchased through us, but via a re-seller. This was resolved when the re-seller eventually purchased the licenses from us.

Re: VCP Disapears
CNC12 has not been tested in Tablet mode. It sounds very much like a Windows, as in tablet mode it tries to only show one "app" at a time and is getting confused with the VCP. There might be workarounds but running in tablet mode is not currently something supported.

Re: SSD
The Centroid Software only takes up around 100mb, but Windows itself takes up about 24GB and is growing with every update. SSDs also need some free space to work at optimal performance. So 128GB would probably be the minimum, but as stated above, the cost is so low for 256GBs it doesn't make sense f...
