Wow 86 huh. I thought they needed to be lower. Ok, I will try again. I am using current mode now. Not sure is I should be but one of my drives does not have velocity mode.

Trying to set Kv1. It looks nothing like the manual. Any ideas?????????????

Which drive are you using? For my 25A20's I had to invert the enable logic. I am using mach with brains but I am sure your setup is similar. Also the AMC tech guy had me hook the enable to all 3 inhibit wires (general inhibit and one for each direction). Scott didn't have that in his diagram before....

For future searches. The emergency mode can be fixed by ports-pins-inputs-estop, then invert the signal. Found it on the mach support site. Thanks again.

Does anybody know if the plot utility comes with mach, or is it an ajax program. I just saw a post and wonder if my plot program doesn't work because I have the wrong one.

Is it best to use voltage, velocity, or torque modes. Install manual does not say much about it that I can find.

How does that work with a continuously variable drive? Do you just have 2 pullys? One high range and one low?

That would be a great addition to mach. I am handling it with a brain. It's not done yet but I can post what I have.
