Re: Add 4th axis
I may be able to provide more information about your software upgrade path once we get the report from your system. 1. Included with the purchase of the DC Single would be an unlock for 4th axis capability. 2. The DC Single can handle DC servos up to 40 in-lb, 120VDC, 15 amps. If your servo falls wi...

Re: DIY Tool Touch off and code until I can afford a TT1??
The Automatic Tool Measurement unlock allows you to measure a tool at the touch of a button. The control will move to where you have your tool measurement set up and then bring the tool down to measure it. Finding edges and the center of a part can be accomplished with a Touch Probe. The Probing Cyc...

Re: Power Supply Question
Our 110VAC Power supply kit will output 110VDC. There should probably be no issue using it with your servos. Worst case scenario you will lose a few RPM at the top end. I have attached a full wiring schematic.

Re: Power Supply Question
It would depend on what the capacitor/rectifier is rated at. The ALLIN1DC can handle up to 180VDC coming in for its DC drives. I have attached a schematic showing a setup with our 110VAC power supply kit.

Re: Dual MPG / hand wheels on retrofit lathe
Our controls support the use of Dual Handwheels, allowing you manual control of your axis while still keeping track of your position in the software. I have attached a simple wiring hook-up below. Do not think of the dual handwheel as an MPG since the MPG typically has an axis selector switch and a ...

Re: Keyboard bounce
Do you have the serial numbers for those controls? Or if you can take a picture of them and post them here. Several different models of keypads have used over the years.

Can you please send us a report of your system to tech@ajaxcnc.com . From the main menu press F7-Utilties, F7-Report, and choose where you wish to save the file. We would just need the report.zip file created. The report file will allow tech support to see all of your parameters, settings, and any f...

Re: Knee mill Low gear reversing on VFD
Please follow the table below to connect the Hitachi WJ200-015SF drive to the ALLIN1DC. Make sure that there is a jumper installed between pins L and PLC on the inverter. The 0-10VDC COM signal must be connected to the L that is in between the OI and AM pins on the inverter. Make sure that A001 is s...

Re: ALLIN1DC Motion Controller and Brushless DC Servos?
There is some confusion as to what makes a DC servo, DC brush-less servo and AC servo. Without getting into the technical specifics the ALLIN1DC should be able to handle DC "brushed" servos up to 40 in-lb /4.52 NM, 180V, 15 amps. A lot of DC servos simply say "DC Servomotor", and...
