Re: A Axis Feed Rate

I found in the Mill user's manual, chapter 11: F - Feedrate The F command is used to set the cutting feedrate. The feedrate is expressed in units/minute. The programmed feedrate may be modified by the feedrate override knob (2 - 200% for DC systems and 2 – 100% for AC systems). The default feedrate ...

Re: blocks of Intercon?

Am I right in assuming that if I generate my G code file else ware, this block limitation won't apply. I understand there is also a limit on the size of G code files.

Thanks,

Rick

blocks of Intercon? (resolved)

I must be blind. Couldn't find a description of a "block of Intercon" anywhere. The description of Intercon didn't seem to use this word. What is it? All I know is I will be limited to 20 of them with the basic software package.

Thanks,

Rick

Re: A Axis Feed Rate

At http://www.cncsnw.com/4thHowTo.htm I found an equation that takes linear and angular movement plus desired feed rate and produces the value that goes next to the "F" on the G code line. My problem with this equation is that the numerator is adding inches squared to degrees squared. That...

A Axis Feed Rate (resolved)

Where do I look in the Centroid M-Series Operators Manual for an explanation of how feed rate is interpreted when I move in the XA "plane" (linear and angular motion)? For example, if I execute G01 F5 A40 X4 in order to rotate the A axis 40 degrees while moving to 4" at a feed rate of...

Re: confused about option

Sorry, but my confusion continues. I found these two products. The one recommended for the Acorn is $799 which is the same price as just the NUC sold by Centroid. Is that right? the other offering looks very similar but costs $401 more. Thanks, Rick http://www.centroidcnc.com/centroid_diy/cnc_compon...

Re: A problem with PC order list

So you mean:

1.) The PC CPU must have at least one of its cores with a minimum benchmark of 1500. You can look up a CPU’s benchmark # using this website. ?

Re: A problem with PC order list

I stumbled into another problem: The CPU link took me to Intel G3930 Kaby Lake Dual-Core 2.9 GHz LGA 1151 51W BX80677G3930 Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 610 yet the paragraph above said 1.)
