Re: Output Control Both Auto and Manual
I'm not really looking to have the functions joined, independent control is working well as far as I can tell. I am looking to be able to have them enabled manually and disabled automatically. The scenario is as follows: M00 pause before part manually engage preheat operator determines dwell time, e...

Re: Output Control Both Auto and Manual
Really doesn't offer us anything to go on. Please post a report. My apologies for being vague. I just made a back up copy of all the original files and got in there and tried removing different code pertaining to auto and manual coolant. Honestly pretty haphazard, not my proudest moment. I doubt an...

Output Control Both Auto and Manual < Acorn tech support review >
Ok, so in over my head again. I have my preheat and cut solenoids working very well in place of the flood and mist. (see previous thread http://centroidcncforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=60&t=1354 ) The m code works great in auto mode and the keyboard works great in manual. But now I want to be compli...

Re: M Code Simultaneous Flood and Mist Coolant
You guys are fast and awesome! I never expected a response on a Sunday morning.
I removed the M95 line and it now works perfectly.
Thanks so much!

M Code Simultaneous Flood and Mist Coolant
Trying to run a two solenoid cutting system. One for preheat the other for cut. I have them setup on flood coolant and mist coolant respectively. It works fine with both the VCP and keyboard. The problem I am having is, that although I can operate both at the same time manually, when called for by t...

Re: Z axis Jog while running
Ok so I learned something new already....
I had not seriously looked into a THC because I assumed that they all ran baised on arc voltage. Apparently some use a capacitive sensor and work with both the flame and plasma systems.
Getting smarter all the time

Re: Z axis Jog while running
That is really unfortunate that it can’t be done. At least I know where I stand. The THC may be a good option. Not really what I need with the oxy/fuel system because there is no arc voltage to give feedback. I will still research them though, a system may offer some form of remote manual control. I...

Re: Z axis Jog while running
Only my eyes, and judgement. Fully manual control. A THC would be great long term but I'm not there yet. Currently I have a manual rack and pinion with a hand wheel to move the torch head so any kind of remote control would be an improvement.

Z axis Jog while running
The acorn is being used to run a plasma, oxy/fuel cutting table. I want to be able to use the keyboard to control the z axis as a manual height control. The g code that I am running has no z axis input. Is there a way to allow manual z jogging while the program is running?
