Please email us a report from your system. From the main screen in CNC11, press F7(Utility)->F7(Report)->highlight the USB drive->F10(Accept). When completed successfully, you will have 3 files - install.bat, report.txt, and report.zip. Email us the report.zip file. Have you checked your limit switc...

Re: Encoder and a few other questions

The demo software is only for testing out the software, it will not communicate with the control. If you purchased a system from us it should have come with a 45-day demo code. This is an unlock you can enter into software and will provide full access for 45 days. Please install the Centroid Mill so...

Re: Encoder and a few other questions

We recommend 2000 line encoders, but if your happy with the lower resolution at 500 line then you can go with that. A 10in-lb motor would be the minimum servomotor size we would recommend. If you already have a MPU11+DC3IOB/ALLIN1DC using a DC1 will add an additional axis. The 4th axis software is a...

Re: machine test

sml2011,

How are you planning on doing your 4th and 5th axis? Our boards are capable of 6-8 axis if that is what you are asking? I am a little confused on what you are trying to test.

Re: EMCO cnc PC 55 (mill and turn)

Our Mach 3 expert is currently on vacation and will be able to give you an answer when he gets back in a few days. But those two machines should work with our controls and Centroid software with a custom PLC for the tool change if you are interested in going that route.

Re: Kudos to the help line!

I am glad Scott was able to help you resolve most of your issues. I can understand your frustration with not being able to get your machine up and running as quickly as expected, while most problems can usually be resolved though a few emails others end up being more complex. The technical support h...

Re: where to begin with ajax board and 3rd party drives

The MPU11/GPIO4D will have no problem with those servomotors being that big, the GPIO4D is designed to be used with 3rd party drives as you are planning on doing. In regard to the wiring I would recommended you follow the suggestions of the manufacture.

To install the Mill update for Linux unzip the file to a directory on your usb stick -this will create two files: mill...
