Re: Anyone ever run CNC12 on server hardware? in a windows VM? Through a switch?
To confirm, we have never tested it in those configurations. The CPU hardware is within specs, but we don't know what kind of latency will be added and what affect that could have on operational results.

New! Automation Direct SureServo2 and Oak Compatibility
Over the last few weeks we have set up and determined compatibility along with settings and parameters for using the Oak with the new Automation Direct SureServo2 drives. They run great in Position mode and also have a excellent auto-tune feature built into the drive. Attached is the drive configura...

Re: Auto/manual/timed backup software
You can schedule the backup when you boot up Windows, just wait until it is done before you proceed to do anything in the Centroid Software. However I think it would make more sense to have the backup set run as part of your shutdown procedure, so that it backs up everything after your changes of th...

Re: New Acorn with bent pin
Thank you for bringing that to our attention. That is clearly not how that Acorn should have shipped out. The pin in question is one of several ground pins so it will have no effect on the function of the Acorn, however we would be happy to issue an RMA. Please let us know the serial number on the A...

Can you please provide more information on which cable you are working on (photo would be best)? The connectors between probes and pendants are not the same.

Re: Shuts down / restarts on it's own
From what I can see the Centroid Software was only started 3 times. So I don't see how it would have caused the other 10 shutdowns even if it was somehow triggering a PC shutdown. Most likely explanation is the computer is losing power. I would need to see the full Windows log however. It should sho...

Re: Acorn CNC12 Mill, Router, and Lathe v4.64 has been released!
Yes, CNC12 works on Windows 11 Home and Pro. The same Windows 10 video for setting it up can be followed, the search bar is in the center of the screen, but Control Panel stays the same.

Re: centroid nuk problem < misunderstanding>
The Installer is only on the Desktop when the Software is not installed. This is the case when the NUC is purchased and we don't know what the end-user wants, Mill, Lathe, or Router. The installer is removed if the software is already installed. If the software is installed there will be an appropri...

Re: Conecting old fanuc dc drive
The Oak and ACDCs would be the retrofit option for those servomotors, the old drives would not be used. We have the PID info for those servomotors. Does it say Pulse Coder on the servo data-plate? If so the encoders can be reused as well.
