Thanks guys. I will try these today.
Seems odd you cant look for a Y or N instead of a number.
Can the #300 variables be used? It looks like they are for text (string) format.

M200 G code yes no
I need to add a pause and ask a question to my g code. Based on the user answer jump to a certain point in my program.
I tried M200 but could never get it to work.
Basiclly I just want to ask the machine operator if a hole needs to be drilled. If not skip that part of the code.

Re: Mill Dual Arm tool changer
Yes single arm with tool holder at each end.
I've always heard them referred to as "dual arm".
It's on a 2003 fadal 4525.

Do you have a sample plc program for a dual arm 24 station side mount type Mill tool changer?

Re: Can an unused axis be used as a -10 to 10 volt output?
I got it to work.
You must have the axis your using NOT assigned to a drive in the parameters.
Also be sure Axis_x_Enable is not being written to elsewhere in the PLC program.

Re: Can an unused axis be used as a -10 to 10 volt output?
Finally got around to trying this. I did have to set the drive assignment to 0 in the parameters.
I can see bits 289-304 changing as I change parameter 175, but there is no voltage coming out of the axis terminal.
I also noticed when I enable the axis through the PLC the enable light is very dim.

More SV_M94_M95
There are only 16 SV_M94_M95. How do I get more? 32 would be great.

Aux button for metric to English
I want to use an aux button to switch between metric and English DRO read outs. Anyone done this before?
We run a lot of parts in both measurements and it would be real handy for an operator to switch between them easily.
