I have a 3 axis bed mill that has a manual quill. I often use this machine to drill a hole without homing it.

Proposed Plan for CNC12 v4.16 software upgrade from older versions of CNC10,CNC11,CNC12 1.) everyone can get Pro who is upgrading from cnc7,10,11, or cnc12 for $299 (this will be called "Legacy Software Upgrade" part #tbd ) Does this mean I can upgrade the software options on a cnc10 system?

They will only sell you a drive with 2.73 pre installed.

Why would I need a system id to download the software? I didn't for 2.72.

A while ago I was told I could not get the 2.73 download. Is this still true?

What will it cost if it is more than 18 months?

I have been running 2.72

I have been running cnc10 2.7 on a sata ssd without a problem.

Any updates on this?
