Re: Oak board and Leadshine easy servo
There are quite a few drives out there that can accept the A+B phase input that are compatible with the OAK such as Yaskawa, Delta, Estun, etc. If you are set on using the drives that you linked to in your post, then the OAK will not be compatible with those drives while the ACORN is.

Re: Enable pins
The concept of an open collector output is that when the transistor is enabled, the collector of that transistor is pulled to the emitter of that transistor which in our circuit the emitter is connected to COM or the ground terminal of the power supply. When that transmitter is not active, the colle...

Please post a current report from that system.

Re: Oak board and Leadshine easy servo
Unfortunately, that drive is not compatible with the OAK board. The OAK board can either send an A+B phase position or a +/-10VDC analog speed voltage.

Re: Help: Wiring up VFD (Commander SE)
Not exactly sure why you would set parameter 5 to A1.A2. Do you have a "remote speed reference input" that is wired into A2? If not, you would set parameter 5 to A1.Pr and not worry about parameter 16 as Marty and Milton suggested because the ACORN does send out a current signal but rather...

Re: Questions about connecting VFD...
You are getting confused on what the outputs are on the ACORN and I will try to explain in detail to make sure you understand exactly what is going wrong with your wiring. If at any point you are confused just let me know what you are finding confusing and I will do my best to clear that up. The OC ...

Re: Enable pins
The ENA signal is an Enable signal which some drives require to tell it that it should be expecting signals to spin the motor. By default, the ACORN will pull the ENA output to COM when it's energized. If you are using the screw terminals, the ENA is an open collector output which means that the out...

Re: CNC10 Servo3IO spindle not turning on
Looking at the report, the Guard Open message that you are getting is due to the state of input 3. I would check that switch and wiring for that particular input on the SERVO3IO. If there isn’t anything physically wired to that input, I would suggested installing a jumper between that input and COM....

Re: How to set distance probe move off surface after probing
The Centroid software has the probe sit on the part after performing the Part0 cycle so that the operator doesn't accidentally jog the probe into the part. there isn't a parameter that you can set that would adjust that as that is built into the software. in general, if you want full use of the Cent...
