Re: Acornsix yaskawa sigma2 issue!
If the motor drives are not showing errors for list steps, then it is probably a noise issue. Try re-running your program with the spindle off.

You might have a look at parameter 1.

All Acorn schematics are here. Use the search function to narrow it down to your Leadshine drives:

Re: NPT + Threads in Intercon - Workflow
I cut 0-80 and M1 all the time. You need an extremely sharp tool and very small infeeds. As for cutting into your shoulder, where are you setting your Z0 for the threading tool. If you use the point of the tool, you'll have to reduce the ending Z by 1/2 the width of the tool. I set my Z0 to the side...

Re: NPT Threads in Intercon - Workflow
The Centroid minor diameters are only valid for threading tools with the correct root flat or radius. If you are using a sharp V threading tool, you'll have to subtract another 0.108 * pitch from the minor diameter. You need to adjust the minor diameter in the thread details page and not the tool we...

Re: AcornSix - Zri Homing with linear scales
Just one point I'm sure you are aware of. The X-axis will not have an index pulse. The index pulse will be on whatever axis the SCALE is attached to.

Re: AcornSix - Zri Homing with linear scales
Those variables will only change when the encoder is sitting on the index mark. You will need to check the variable when the asterisk is showing on the PID screen.

Re: DRO display units
I haven't tried recently, but in the past there were issues with DRO units different than machine units.
AFAIK, there is still no way to programmatically change DRO and machine units. The only way is from the config screen

Re: C Axis Lathe Situation
Leave the negative numbers and the C-axis out for a moment and restate what Marc said. If my X0 is in the center of the part, X-2.0 to X2.0 would be a 4" move to the right, while X2.0 to X-2.0 would be a 4" move to the left. I think this is what you are expecting: G00 X-2.000 G01 X2.000 G0...

Re: C Axis Lathe Situation
C-23 to C-60 would move CCW.
C-60 to C-23 would be CW.
Same thing happens on Z.
