Re: M92 Not Working
Ok. My limits work fine, then I hit M92P1 and the x moves in the negative direction and onto hard stop. After that the limits don't work until I restart. Shouldn't it move positive.

Re: M92 Not Working
Alright I apparently got the ports and pins setting right for the estop now. I think the estop button never interfaced with mach and I never had a clue since there is an old redundant electro mechanical estop as well. Now the estop works and the m92 works on the z. It is rolling right past the x, an...

Re: M92 Not Working
I rewired the estop so that the common is now ground (like the newer drawings). When I put 5v to input 7 nothing happens. How do I make mach recognize that input 7 is estop? I am thinking that somewhere mach is told that in 11 is estop and cannot be changed by the user. Maybe I should just rip it al...

Re: M92 Not Working
I just wasted another two hours of my life working on it. I changed the 4 11's to 7's and since my estop is wired like the original drawing (active low) I switched the three < and > signs. Still nothing. I have +5v going into my common connection (in 8) for my estop. This appears to be different in ...

Re: M92 Not Working
I checked it... I have it wired to input 7, like the print that came with my kit shows. I see that the M92 macro uses #11, as well as the new instructions for GPIO4D install. It's hard enough getting this thing together without sabotage :| . I am not sure if this is the full issue with the m92 but i...

Re: M92 Not Working
Scott/ all,
I started another post for it, but my limits are working and I can back off of them. However my M92 still does not work, it only clears the DRO. Help??? Where do I start?

Axis won't back off limits, hey Riley! Fixed it.
For the future suffers.... Scott. I finally figured out why all three of my axis would not back off of the limits. I was reading old posts by Riley (Riley, Hope you got yours fixed by now), and started checking the brains. The continuous jog brains are wrong. I noticed that the OEM Trigger Inputs on...

Re: M92 Not Working
OK could this M92 issue be tied to my limit switch problem? I checked the limits and directions and it all seems to work good. When an axis hits a limit I get the yellow LED. If I view the cutoff brain for that axis I can see that it's disabled with only the two axis limit inputs lit. When I try to ...

Re: M92 Not Working
As far as limits. They only go into the GPIO4D. I will play with them more. I had to mess with the setup to get them to respond correctly. I click on machine coordinates button and It flashes. Then no matter where any of the axis are, I hit M92 P1, 2, or 3 and the x, y, and z zero out respectively b...

Re: M92 Not Working
Also, I still cannot back off of my limit switches. Do I have to reset anything before I can? This may not be tied to the above problem.
