What turned out to be the resolution to your limit error?
My screw compensation table went out to an X value of 13 but, a few days ago, changed my soft limit to 12 when I removed my limit micro switch. By changing the soft limit to 13, it appears to be happy.

Re: 325 Limit Error?

All I see is probe activity from setting up Part 0.

Re: Spontaneous 307 "Operator Abort"

Tom, I found the offending option in the screen saver section. Hopefully, this solves the problem since I thought I had completely disabled the screen saver feature but clearly missed something. That is a nice keyboard but a bit beyond my budget. I did take apart the keyboard that caused my problems...

Re: Spontaneous 307 "Operator Abort"

Any chance you have a chip in your keyboard? Touch screen contaminated? How often is the error occurring? If you just go into MDI, don't move anything or start anything, just let it sit at the MDI prompt. If so, how long did it sit before the error occurred? We are going to need another report I th...

Re: Spontaneous 307 "Operator Abort"

The probe tripped entries are due to my actions and are understood. The probe was not connected when I hit the 307 error.

Spontaneous 307 "Operator Abort" <Resolved, chips in K'board>

All ran fine yesterday but today I started to see my cursor jumping around on its own as I was setting up for a job. I also had a few spontaneous "307 Operator abort" events. I figured I might be a missing Windows update so closed CNC12, found updates, installed them, power cycled, and set...

Re: 325 Limit Error?

Not now. My spindle got too hot to touch after running for that 1.5 hours. Gotta deal with that next.

I did just get my Software Defined EEF to work with Acorn. I’m seeing repeatable accuracy of +0/-1 tenth.

Re: 325 Limit Error?

I ran error free for 1.5 hours so am now confident in saying that my noise problem has been solved.

Thanks to all!

Re: 325 Limit Error?

The key is to have all current flow inside the DB-25 cable. This is only possible if the 5 volt supply is at the motor driver end of the cable. Maybe the confusion here is that if you look at the circuit from a DC standpoint, it doesn't matter where you put the 5V supply. It is fine to put it at the...
