Re: Quick question: Attaching wire duct to control panels
I'm an easy-way-out kinda guy. Couple swipes with a rag & acetone followed by a strip of 3M VHB tape. It's there for good.

I chose Leadshine for the drive, and then I went to DB25 and then selected "ENABLE DB25 CUSTOM PIN MAPPING" and it then showed the pins that are reassignable: Could you please double check? You're correct as usual Marty. I think the reason I wasn't seeing it was that the DB25 menu selecti...

...except that in Lathe setup the DB25 mapping didn't show up even after selecting the Leadshine option for my little DM542 stepper drives.

Re: Who is up and running on CNC12 4.14?

Re: 2 simple macro questions.
Thanks Dana, that helps a lot!
I was using the T-Series CNC11 V.3.16 lathe manual. I realize there are differences when working with an Acorn.

Re: 2 simple macro questions.
I tried a few changes last night with no success but when I re-RTFM'd on the M105 & M106 I'm puzzled by the "G92" in the example. G92 is a threading cycle according to the manual. How would G92 "Set X position to 10?" A typo maybe? I'll admit being easily confused by this stu...

Re: Saving Custom Wizard settings
As I understand it, no. The 4.14 release will change that to a yes.CarlEnglish wrote: ↑Wed Mar 13, 2019 3:45 pm ....it means i then have to keep replacing the cncm.hom file each time, with my own. Is there a way to modify the defaults for the wizard to keep my files?

2 simple macro questions.
#1: How would I go about modifying the homing macro on my lathe to make the axis back off the switch farther (.100” or so) before traveling back & tripping the switch the 2nd time? Here is what I’m using now which is working "OK" with my combined mechanical switch/opto-sensor homing sc...
