I have an older Centroid built 5 axis E320 originally setup for porting. The original probe, with DSP, was a DP-4D (Perhaps the first versions of the dsp?). Just as an update, I took everything apart, including the home switch, and sprayed every connection with cleaner. While I didn't see anything explicitly obvious, the rotary homing seems to be working as expected now.

Is the home switch an elecro-mechanical switch, or is it an inductive proximity sensor? Did it work correctly and reliably up until a month or two ago? Or have you had this problem for as long as you have owned the machine? Switch is electro mechanical, can even hear it "click" with home ...
