Re: CNC10 DCIO3 Opinion
We have a 2008 Centroid E320 with 5 axis head porting package (trt-32). We use it to port heads on many of the fastest dragracing "streetbikes" on the planet. I am still very happy with it and it works well. Very few issues and Centroid has been more than exceptional with any support quest...

Re: Fusion and Intercon
Fusion 360 has its own simulator built in and really has nothing to do with Intercon. After loading the processed code into your control, you can still graph the toolpath, however the internal simulation in CAM packages does much more than just graph the toolpaths. Toolpaths and/or actual cutting si...

Re: Retrofits Maho MH400E, Fusion 350 and 4/5 Axis
Fusion 360 posts are available for Centroid machines. The post isn't really specific to the board used, although you may need to tweak it depending on your axis configuration for multi axis use.

Re: A new Centroid CNC Kinematic Machine Tool Touch Probe is now available.
The 2.5mm ball tip has a 2.0mm shaft. Thanks much for the info. Given the small diameter of the shaft, I wonder if anyone has looked into if there is any flex to the shaft when the ball contacts a surface, and if that would add a repeatable amount to the pre-trip travel, depending on the speed of a...

Any chance you could post the schematic of the "flipper" circuit that you had in the Probe?

$600 is a good target.
Are the internals similar to the DP4-DP7 probes? I have damaged our DP-4D beyond repair and always liked the ease and consistency of adjustments for eccentricity and angle.

Re: A new Centroid CNC Kinematic Machine Tool Touch Probe will soon be available.
Any updates on more testing or ETA? Test showing probe of a bore, and then turning the probe ~20° in the spindle and probing again and seeing if there is variation? I like to try to keep the spindle in the same orientation when probing regardless. Some other commercially available systems seem to us...
