Looks like a good solution, got my DB25 breakout board on the way.

But the KL 5056 does not have a DB25 connector. I am new to this and building my first machine so please excuse my ignorance.

So I understand that the KL-5056 step driver also needs a 5 volt power supply. I am a newbie so this was not obvious when I bought them. Can I use a power supply from a computer since they have a 5 volt output?

I am still looking for a touch screen computer with a ssd and I found this one. What do you think about this? Opinions welcome.
