Re: No Heartbeat LED? DON'T BE SO QUICK TO DEBRICK!

All seems well. I was hooking up some mechanical switches at the time.

Re: No Heartbeat LED? DON'T BE SO QUICK TO DEBRICK!

If you find that that there is no power LED or hearbeat LED on your Beagle Bone Green(BBG). STOP! Don't be so quick to assume that it has died! Do some trouble shooting procedures first: 1. Disconnect the ethernet cable from Acorn 2. If you have removable headers (Acorn Hardware Revision 3) unplug ...

Connector and Pin ID?

I would rather repin a connector than splice the cables between my Acorn and Logosol drives. The connector says MXN-15 2695 My guess would be Molex but cant find any such model. This is an 8 pin connector but I am interested in the pins themselves. CDD1907C-99DE-4468-86F5-4BD25087D0B7.jpeg BD17E2B4-...

Re: Estop/Contactor/PC behavior?

So just a follow up. All seems correct at the moment and both the Estop button and the VCP button do the exact same thing. But the VCP screen doesnt say triggered if the physical button is hit. The screen does turn red and say ebutton pressed but not the triggered feature. I wonder why?

Re: Estop/Contactor/PC behavior?

Ok I am a dumbass. I didnt realize I had to provide a 24+ jumper to the input rail. I am at the first stage of the power circuit. I see the connection thru the limit switches. All is well.

Re: Estop/Contactor/PC behavior?

Thanks for the link, there are some features I wasnt aware of but so far dont help.
This is an older board that I am or was repurposing. I dont remember any issues with it but if I open the alt i screen and touch a wire from com to any input and the status leds dont change.

Re: Estop/Contactor/PC behavior?

Did you setup input 8 in the wizard to be Estop? I did but I am getting some strange behavior on the diagnostics page. The status light shows input 8 at whatever state the setting is. In the wizard I set input 8, EStopOk, green (nc) and wrote settings to cnc control config, depowered the acorn, rep...

Estop/Contactor/PC behavior?

I am following the schematics posted here, https://www.centroidcnc.com/dealersupport/schematics/uploads/S14826.r9.pdf. In regards to the physical E stop button. Mine has 2 sets of normally closed contacts. 1 set connected to com and input 8, the other set powering the A1 side of the contactor coil f...

Re: Z axis and lathe ATC problem, mystery

Not that I have any help on your issue. I am in the process of a build and come across things that make me question. In other builds using Mach 3 I had issues with noise occasionally and they were hard to trace if I ever solved them. On your Din rail in image 5, there is a yel/grn block. This type ...
