Re: Connecting TB Woods SW1 vfd to Oak Board

Figure 4-3 on the photo that you attached shows how you would hook it up. You can follow the attached table for the connections based on the photo that you supplied. The Digital I/P are most likely programmable inputs. Based on the value of a parameter, it tells the VFD what that particular input is...

Re: Millport with a M-60 controller?

I just saw the photo of the X axis driver board which is a MICRO1 board. If you do get a replacement driver board, the attached pinout should help you in wiring the new driver board to that system. If you wanted, you can use the ACORN to send the signals to those boards and have yourself an updated ...

Re: Millport with a M-60 controller?

Looks like cncsnw is correct in that this is an older Centroid stepper control. Are you able to provide a photo of the X axis driver board?

Re: Millport with a M-60 controller?

Please email the serial number of the Centroid control to support@centroidcnc.com and they will be able to provide you with as much information as they possibly can. You can find the serial number using the attached tech bulletin.

Re: Gear ranges

Dave, If you wanted to use all 9 gear ranges, you could but as DICKEYBIRD stated, the PLC program will have to be modified in order to take all of those gear ranges into account. The base PLC program has logic for 3 ranges. In addition to the modified PLC program, you will also have to create a cust...

Re: One PC for multiple Acorns?

That shouldn't be an issue as you will have 2 different software, a Mill and a Lathe, with 2 separate PRO licenses for each individual ACORN.

Re: moog s-24 mill tool changer

I don't see anything that tells me that those encoders wouldn't work with the Centroid hardware.

Re: encoder connectios

Marty, Ronnie stated that he was having issues with one of the motor drive cards and could not get a replacement. He will still have to purchase a drive in order to control that particular axis. Looking at the PDF file that you linked, it appears that the MultiTEK Slim comes in either a 3 or 4 axis ...

Re: moog s-24 mill tool changer

It seems like those aren't differential encoder signals which if they aren't, it will not work with the Centroid control. Do you have a pinout for those encoders? If so, verify that there are A, /A, B, /B, Z, and /Z signals. If there aren't, you can either purchase new encoders, build a circuit that...

Re: Offline version of INTERCON Number 2

For future reference, your Centroid control serial number is 3606. Our database shows that system is running CNC10 v2.36. In order to avoid backwards compatibility issues, I will email you the Offline Intercon v2.36 via filemail.com as I can't attach it due to its size. It is Windows XP compatible. ...
