The jist of all of this is you need another pair of contacts to close the C86ACCP IF you are using all 4 contacts on your current contactor.
Take a picture of your contactor and sketch how you have it wired and post it here please

Re: Wiring Confirmation
All relays should have a snubber. Some relays have flyback diodes built into them. (I drew it in as a matter of being consistent with the Acorn schematic) I am not sure what is confusing you. You simply add another small relay, you PARALLEL the coils of the two relays together, so that they are both...

Yes for the DILM12 frame size (IF that is the part number you purchased in the ebay link you provided)tuffduck wrote: ↑Wed Jan 19, 2022 12:59 am Something like these?

Attached is a schematic if you want to use a small auxiliary contactor.

Re: why does centroid never remember its coordinate/home
Also, what sense does it make for you to click PARK and it to lower its z height first and then move XY, Z move should be last to ensure no CRASHES Tom makes a good point. You have a mill? Where are your home switches? On a mill, they should be at Z+ at the TOP of the Z travel X and Y can be left o...

as i stated before the answer making this machine perform is to replace the old sherline drives with a modern stepper drives (leadshine or gecko). this is cheap and easy to do. read. https://www.geckodrive.com/support/step-motor-basics.html and this https://centroidcncforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=63&a...

Re: why does centroid never remember its coordinate/home
Uwe is correct. In order for the control to know where the machine is at when powered down, encoders with battery backup need to be used, and the logic needs to be written into the software. Absolute Encoder Cost implementation vs. the minor inconvenience of homing the machine at the beginning of ea...

Re: Denford Mirac 8 position tool changer wiring
Tom you will still need the diode board to create the BCD inputs if you want to use Centroid's turret macro, unless you are planning to modify it. Plus you would be giving up 4 inputs needlessly. KFM, I agree with you, can you provide details about the diode board and how it is connected. It is not...

Re: Wiring Confirmation
Here is the diagram. I am not sure if terminal blocks are okay or do I need a relay? Thanks Diagram is INCORRECT. You have voltage across those contacts on Relay 1 feeding the Estop relay coil. DO NOT CONNECT C86ACCP No fault to it as you have it shown. You must add a second relay for your C86ACCP,...
